IN AN ENGLISH COUNTRY GARDEN...

What a beautiful day at Micklefield Hall. This Bride and Groom had paid every small attention to detail when planning their Wedding Day at this breath-taking venue.

They enjoyed their ceremony at Micklefield Hall's secluded circular pond, which was fringed with wooden chairs for all their guests. Afterwards, they were met with Mojito cocktails or Champagne and a selection of our handmade canapes in the rose garden.

As guests proceeded to the marquee, set within the rolling fields which make up the grounds of Micklefield Hall, they were greeted with a beautifully created scene of garden flowers in jam jars, vintage lace, a suitcase of memories and many other "props" to give transform their marquee into a vintage-feel village fete.

Flamed Foods Co. prepared a bespoke BBQ menu, to include beautifully soft and blushing grilled whole leg of lamb, marinated with rosemary and fresh garlic, and also grilled king prawns with a chimichurri glaze.

Each guest brought a different dessert, which filled 4 large tables (!!!!) and guests enjoyed sampling and judging eachothers in a village fete style.

We kept the bar flowing with chilled drinks, and our friendly staff looked after the guests well into the night!

GLITZ & GLAMOUR AT PENDLEY MANOR!

This 50th Birthday Party at Pendley Manor was certainly something a little different...
Our customer arranged this very glitzy Party for his wife, and transformed the Ballroom at Pendley Manor into a Nightclub themed venue, for their 140 guests to get glammed up and Party the night away in. The venue dressers are associated with Formula One Parties, so this really was a night to remember. A focal point was the huge ice stiletto sculpture, which our customer had commissioned especially for his wife.
We arrived at Pendley Manor early in the day to start preparing our evening menu. We provided a hog roast for this Party, and as we freshly cook our pigs at the event, it meant we had many hours of roasting ahead of us. We time this cooking period so that when the menu is due to be served, the meat is juicy and falls apart, and the crackling is crisp and crunchy.
While the pig was roasting, we were constantly kept amused by the 12 resident peacocks at Pendley Manor, that roam the grounds and provide an amazing sight when they fan their tails and give their surprisingly loud call.
A great Party, and it shows how roasting and BBQ'ing is always a perfect option at any time of the year!
